It’s when you’ve run out of groceries that you become super creative and make interesting combinations out of whatever’s left in your fridge or your pantry shelves. You find yourself working on a rainy Sunday afternoon. You’re in the flow and you don’t want to stop to get lunch. But you still need some fuel. Something easy to throw together. What’s in the store cupboard? Two slices of bread. Peanut butter. A jar of our lovely Pine Honey. That’s it! It’s a bit of a twist on the classic American peanut butter and jelly combo, but we choose to get our sweet fix in a more healthy way. The peanut butter, by the way, was lightly salted with sea salt flakes and was perfect foil to the rich flavour of the honey. Delicious! And yes, we did enjoy a productive day too.
